Introduction

The results derived from basic research on pancreatic cancer will be put to practical use in clinical practice.

As a result derived from basic research on pancreatic cancer, we reported that podocalyxin (PODXL) is a useful diagnostic marker for pancreatic cancer and intraductal papillary mucinous tumor (IPMN).

Furthermore, we reported that the combination of PODXL and integrin beta1 (ITGB1) can be a prognostic marker that can accurately predict postoperative prognosis in the preoperative phase for cases of resectable pancreatic cancer.

There are reports that PODXL and ITGB1 are involved in oncogenesis in cancers other than pancreatic cancer, and this antibody will be useful in functional analysis studies aimed at practical application in clinical settings.

Antibody sales

We have produced two Rabbit monoclonal antibodies that specifically recognize human PODXL and one Rabbit monoclonal antibody that specifically recognizes human ITGB1, which are commercialized and marketed by Cosmo Bio Co. These antibodies are synthesized as recombinant antibodies, and their performance is stable with no variation in antigen-antibody reaction. Both antibodies can be used for Western blot, immunohistochemistry (paraffin-embedded), and immunocytochemistry.

We hope that this antibody against PODXL and ITGB1, respectively, will be useful to domestic and foreign researchers working on the functional analysis of PODXL and ITGB1.
